They also visited a friend who had recently had heart surgery. Mr. and Mrs. George Nedrow of Ashton. Idahiyand Mrs. Lucy Rogers,of Roswel| were Thursday visitors in the Earl Boston home. Friday dinner guests in the Earl Boston home were Mr. and Mrs. John Boston and family. Later Mr. and Mrs. Bob Slippy and family, of Weiser, came for a visit. Mrs. Mabel Eos was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Seward and in the evening all attended the Intermountain District camp meeting held at Nampa Jack Ryed of Bountiful, Utah, visited with his aunt, Mrs Nell Correll.on Thurs day. Mr. and Mr*. Larry Simons and family of Boise were Friday afternoon and evening guest* in the Rex Nichol home. Mr. and Mrs. William Anders of Caldwell and Mrs Ruth Wolf of Rock Island. Illinois, were Wednesday evening visitors in the Waldo Smalley home. Mrs. Wolf stayed and visited until Friday evening where Mrs. Smalley took her to Caldwell where they were guests of the Royal Neighbors evening patio picnic. Mr*. Gene Honey was a Thursday evening dinner guest in the Waldo Smalley home. Mrs. Albert Bowen of Payette was a Sunday guest of Mrs Gene Honey. Mr and Mrs. Marshall Lloyd of Portland spent Friday thru Monday with Mr. and Mrs. David Bay. They were on their way home from Reno to Portland. A cousin of Mr. and Mrs Dwight Seward. Mr*. Carlyle Mullen of Denver. Colorado and her sons Wesley and Dale and also an aunt, Mr*. Lavera Augustus of Lawe- rente, Kansas, came in Wednesday. There were all dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs Roy Wilds and the visitor* were overnight gue- st* of the Sewards. They left on Thursday for Salem and Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr and Mrs. Ed Sells and Mr and Mrs. Gene Tuttle camped and fished Friday thru Sunday on the Middle Fork of the Weiser River. Mr and Mrs. C. L. Fritts. Mr and Mr*. Clarence Tuning and Mrs. Eva Arma cost of Payette attended the Roswell High School reunion held on Sunday. Mrs. Eva Armacost visited in the C. L. Fritts and Clarence Tuning homes on Sunday. They stopped at her home in Casper. Wyoming for a week ,then all of them went to Calloway, Nebraska, for the 50th Reunion of Mrs. Rookstool’s High School Class Here they just missed being in a tornado After the reunion they visited friends in other parts of Nebraska and there spent another week with her sister at Casper. Wyoming, before coming on home. They had a very wonderful trip Emma Tuning was a guest Friday thru Sunday in the Clarence Fritts home. Joe Brown called at the Clyde Bowers home Monday morning. Clyde Bowers. Ted Bowers and Oscar Schafer of Adnan fished Paddock Reservoir. Monday of last week. Llewellyn Robbins and family were down from Baker over the weekend at the L. E. Robbins home. Llewellyn and his wife attended the Class of ’49 reunion. Three of the men who attended had attended Arcadia school and had graduated from the eighth grade there when Mrs. Inga Robbins taught the eighth grade. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Petter son and Tony attended the Kesler-Goodfellow family re union held at McCall at the Ponderosa Park. People be gan gathering Wednesday of last week. Some of them will be there till Tuesday of this week. There were 81 present. Pettersons were there over the weekend. Irma and Al Bouhy of Burwell, Nebraska stopped for a few minutes at Donald Bullartfs home. Monday. They were here earlier and visited the Otis Bullards for some time. They had gone on to Portland to visit Whitey and Eva Petterson Bouhys are cousins of the Bullards and the Pettersons. They were on their way home to Nebraska. Mrs. Bruce Everetton and children visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Feik. Saturday. Don Bird and a cousin from Missouri called at the Clyde Bowers home. Monday eve ning. They are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bird of Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Meyer took Christine to Boise. Sunday to catch the plane for Pensacola. Florida. Doyle Carroll visited over night. Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carroll. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carroll of Albany, who have been visiting relatives and friends in this area came to spend Fnday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carroll. They returned to Albany. Sunday. Shirley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cor dova of Nyssa and Danny is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sanchez of San Diego. California. The bnde was given in marriage by her father in a double-nng ceremony at the Assembly of God Church of Ontario, with the Rev. Jim Pena officiating. Holy Com munion was administered to the couple by the Rev. David Martinez of El Monte, California. In a setting of candelabra* and baskets of white chrysan themums and gladiolus, the bnde wore a white organza gown with a full skirt and train and lace appliques on the entire gown, covering the underlining of white satin. She wore a three-tiered Spanish-style veil with a pearl headpiece and carried a cascade bouquet of red roses. Maid of honor was Sarah Sanchez, cousin of the groom. Bridesmaids were Virginia Najar. sister of the bride; Olga Hernandez, sis ter of the groom; Olivia Pena. Roseanna Santillanes. cousin of the bride; Elva Pena. Teresa Santillanes. cousin of the bride; Gloria Montoya and Shelley Myrick. They all wore blue and pink dresses with eyelet jackets, earned cascade bouquets of blue and pink carnations and babies breath and wore blue and pink, wide-brimmed hats with bows made of net. The flower girl was Misty Cordova, niece of the bride. She carried a white basket of pink and blue daisy petals and wore a white dress with pink trimming and a pink hat. Best man was Isais Quinonez and Joe Kinisky served as ring bearer. Cham berlains were Tom Cordova. Bobby Cordova. Gene Cor dova. Sammy Sanchez. Pete Hernandez. Alex Najar. The mother of "the bnde Club Honors Lancasters Members of the Birthday Dinner Bridge Club enter tained Mr and Mrs. Muri Lancaster in honor of their 45th wedding anniversary at Maudie's Cafe in Payette on Monday, July 14. Both wore corsages of white baby roses. The three-tiered cake was white, adorned with pink flowers and outlined in blue, and it decorated the wedding reception at the Baptist Church in Ontario. Punch was served from a silver, lighted waterfall punch bowl. The tables were all set with candles and the wedding party table was decorated with a centerpiece of pink and blue carnations and white candles. Assisting at the reception were Helen Dealz.
