Gail and the children were here for two weeks while Dick was teach i"K »1 a CPA school in Chicano. Ke flew back here lor a week with hi* parent*. While here, Mr* Carole Wilson and children came from Bum* and a family gathering was enjoyed, in cluding the Gerald Hinder* family of Ontario Dan flanks, a 19.10 Nyssa High School graduate, it visiting and reminiscing with old friends tn Nyssa thi* week Ke lives in Dillon, Montana and is retired from the construction business. • • • Mr and Mrs Muri Lancas ter were dinner guest* of Mrs Dorothy Nolen at the Eastside Cafe in Ontario, Wednesday evening in honor of their 45th wedding anni versary • • • Mr. and Mrs Dan Norland and von Kaare of Pomeroy, Washington, were guests of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Gann from Thursday until Sunday. Mrs. Norland wav here to attend her class reunion (class of 1949) The Norlands visited her sister and husband, Mr and Mrs. Walt Looney and boy*. Dan visited his brother Art Norland in Caldwell, Ray Norland in Parma and his sisters, Mrs. Eugene Ste phen and Mrs. Joe Stephen • • • Mr. and Mrv. Dirick Nedry attended the Oregon News paper Publishers Association convention at Sunriver on July 12. Their daughter. Judy, of Portland joined her parents there. Mrv. Nedry then accompanied her daugh ter back to Portland where she visited for a week. She visited her mother. Mr*. Margaret Ryser and other relatives in Salem before returning to Nyssa on Tues day. a a a Guests of Mt and Mrs Frank Byers on Saturday evening for the birthday celebration of their grandson. Tom Byers and Mrs. Byers' sister, Ethel Lay were: Terry and Todd Byers of Ontario (Tom's brothers). Ethel Lay'» family. Frances Kral/berg, Mt and Mrs Forrest McCool and Mr. and Mr*. John Sommars. The three Byer* boys were guests of their grandparents from Wednes day till Sunday while their parents. Mr and Mrs. Stan Bvrts were in Sun valley. Sunday dinner guests in the Frank Byers home were Mr and Mrv. Mrs. Louise Bailey of Murray. Utah came Wednes day to visit Mr and Mrs. Don Roberts and boys. Mr and Mrs. Bud Robbins of Phoeni*. Arizona came last week to visit her sister. Mrs. Winifred Bennett and other relatives in Roswell and Parma. Other guest* Friday were theif two sister*. Mr. and Mrs Ralph Dalton of Boise and Mr. and Mrs Clarence Kniefel of Parma. Mr and Mr*. Larry Bau man and family of Nyssa and Bill Van DeWater and family of Adrian brought cake and ice cream luesday evening and helped celebrate Mr*. Boyce Van DeWater’s birth day. Julie and Danny stayed with their grand mother. Mrs. Rose Bums in Nyssa until Mrs. Sillonis and son returned home Saturday evening. Mrs. Burn* i* assisting in the Silloni* home. Harry and Larry Packwood of Nampa are visiting the John and Jim Packwoods.
