Tex., from the technical training course for U. S. Air Force aircraft mechanics. Airman Gerald L. Holmes, son of Mr. and Mrs Rolland W Holmes of Route I, Nvsva. was trained to repair current Air Force jet aircraft. Completion of the course enables him to receive academic credits through the Community College of the Air Force. The airman now goes to Holloman AFB. Some people are getting kind of nervous about the world situation, possible de pression. and personal prob • lems such as they never dreamed they'd have a few years ago. But that grand old Book, the Bible, is more up-to-date than tomorrow and is giving us answers and full confidance that God is in charge of things. He hasn't let go of this old world, though a lot of people have let go of Him! An unusual feature of it is a dial which enables one to raise or lower the pitch according to need. Mrs. Evans was permitted to play that organ and introduced to it's method. At the Fruitland Church. Mrs. Evans was to play the organ for services and was overjoyed to find that it had a new Allen organ, and she was especially grateful that she had had a recent lesson on how to handle it. Returning to Idaho, the Evans' came through a snow storm on the Utah-Idaho border sans difficulty. Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Shaw of Nu Acres dined with Mr and Mrs Ray Winters of Harper at Anderson’s Cafe in Ontario. Mrs. Winters is Mrs. Shaw's sister. The Shaws also visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hite in Vale. Mr. Hite is Mrs. Shaw's brother. Accompanying them was Shawn Young, the Hite's grandson. Samba Group Meets Members of the Samba Club were entertained at the home of Mrs. Virginia Bybee on Friday. NYSSA Valentine center on Marisol DAY CARE CENTER HELD their party Friday, February 14 at the north Main and Park.
