Elects New Officers Newly elected officers in the Adrian Education Asso ciation for the 19'4-75 yêar include Betty Kalmbach, pre sident; Dorothy Phelps, vice president; and Priscilla Young, secretary-treasurer. The Adrian Education Association, a teachers’ or- ganizatioA unified in mem bership, is an organization designed to help solve the collective and individual problems of its members as they strive to do a profes sional job of teaching. Affi liated with and in good stand ing as a local unit of the Oregon Education Associa tion and the National Educa tion Association, the AEA has five goal areas it works toward: (1.) protecting legal and human right of educators and students. (2.) attaining instructional excellence; (3.) improving economic secu rity of all educators; (4.) attaining and maintaining self-governance for the pro fession; and, (5.) achie ving organizational excel- Representatives of the U. Boys attending were Fred Deffer, who won 6 1/2 games, Doug Bowers, won 5 games, Dan Chaney, won4 games, and Lanny Fugishin, won 2 games The Adrian Grade School also competed. James Phelps is their coach. Those who went were Mark Witty, Toni Potter, Mike McClure, and Rick Olson. They came in fourth in the team compe tition.
