While there, all of them made a visit to Mrs. Minnie Stoltzenburg at Aberdeen, South Dakota. Mrs. Stoltsenburg went to Bruce Braseth and family. Mrs. Stolt zenburg was very glad to see them again, and meet ano ther two generations of the Struve family. On the trip to Dakota, the Houstons went through the Black Hills, and on the way home they tra veled quite a few miles in an old-fashioned blizzard in the Plains states. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bul lard and Alan went to Meri dian, Sunday to attend a 20th wedding anniversary dinner for their daughter Betty and her husband. Mr. and Mrs. George Boyack. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jensen and fa mily of Boise also attended. Mrs. Jensen is Betty's si- ter, Wilma. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Haney and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stradley were guests of Amy Stradley, Thursday evening at a waffle supper. Lyla Houston, Janie and Shane visited with Gladys Feik Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pe terson are in the process of building a new home above the Houston place nearer the Highline ditch. The couple are from Anchorage, Alaska and intend to make thier home in this community. Mr. and Mrs. Max Moore went to Eugene to watch tlie Nyssa Bulldogs play in the tournament. Mrs. Don Bowers and Bar bara visited with Nell Bo wers Saturday afternoon. Verna Jean Deweyandchil- dren spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Enos Cook and family. Verna Jean and tier husband and family have tieen stationed in England, not far from London for four years. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. CarlClark- son of Nyssa. She will, soon, be joined by her husband, Tech. Sgt. Gordon R. Dewey and after a short visit the family will drive to New Hampshire, where he will be stationed. They are the new mis sionaries for the American Sunday School Union. Gene Anderson called at the Ernest Stephenson home Saturday evening. Gene and Frances Orrand Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Step henson drove to McCall, Sun day. They report a beauti ful drive with lots of snow still on the ground and mild temperature. They returned by way of Cascade. Mrs. One Anderson from Kuna, came to stay a few days with Ernest and Velma Stephenson. She is the grand daughter of the Stephensons. Carlene and Darlene Car roll visited their gramma rents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carroll, over the weekend. They are the twin daugh ters of JimCarroll who lives in Sunset Valley. Mr. and Mrs. HenryCar- roll and their twin grand- aughters visited the Johnnie Carroll family at Nyssa, Sunday evening. Mrs. Neil Petterson and daughter Toni, took Connel Petterson to Salt Lake, Utah Friday. He entered the Mis sion Home. From there he expects to go to Johannes burg, South Africa on a two- year mission for the C hurch of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Petterson and Tom came home Saturday.
