CB&PW Plan Birthdav J Party * THE ENGAGEMENT OF Miss Karen Jean Reynolds of Corvallis, Oregon, to Russell M. Myrick of Klamath Falls, Oregon, has been announced by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Guy E. Reynolds of Corvallis. He is the son of Mrs. Howard Myrick of Nyssa and the late Howard Myrick. Miss Reynolds is attending Oregon State University, majoring in Physical Education and Health, and wilbgra- duate in March of 1974. She is affiliated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Russell graduated from Oregon State in 1973 with a B.S. in Physical Education He is teaching and coaching a Mazama Mid-High School in Kla math Falls. A March 16, 1974 wedding is planned. There will be a hostess gift and cake at every table. Mrs. Silas Shaw of Ontario will give a special feature on cake decorating. Leg al Secretaries Meet At Pendleton Members of the Oregon Association of Legal Secre taries (OreALS) will hold their Winter Board of Go vernors’ meeting at Indian Hills Motor Inn, Pendleton, on February 2, 1974. OreALS President, Gladys A. Lowrie, Portland, will pre side at the meeting Guest speakers are Tom Augustine, Director of Oregon Credit Union League, Portland, and John W. Smallmon, Hermis ton, attorney and Justice of Peace. Members of the Malheur County chapter of OreALS will be represented at the meeting by Billie Willis, Ontario; Nancy Biechler, Ontario and Maxine Ryan, Vale. OreALS is a chapter of National Association of Le gal Secretaries (Interna tional), which has over 19,000 members throughout the United States and in se veral foreign countries. Statewide membership is over 600, divided among 20 chapters. Billie Willis is president of the Malheur County chapter. Bring Results! Tra veling via plane from Port land to Waco, Texas, they spent several days visiting with another daughter and son- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Hartwig. While in Texas they traveled to Dallas and Austin and saw many historical sights Extension Group Mot With Francos Frool The AKH Home Extension study group met Thursday afternoon, January 24, with Frances Freel in Adnan. There were 17 membersand two visitors present. Lucille Gossard and Elea nor Topliff gave the lesson on "Blender Bash.’’ They demonstrated making foods with several different brands of blenders.
