Membersnot past Noble Grand were in troduced and given a token of friendship by Good Or der Chairman Kathleen Whee ler. Then sixteen Past Nob les Graflds were escorted, introduced and an addendum with candles and poems was given in their honor. This was also under the direction of Kathleen Wheeler. Each was presented a handmade pot holder. Hostesses were all members who served sa lad and sandwiches. MR. AND MRS. RALPH D. HART, LA GRANDE, are announcing the engagement of their daughter Diane Renne' to David Patrick Phelps, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Phelps, Adnan, Oregon. Miss Hart is a 1972 graduate of La Grande High School and is a sophomore at Columbia Christian College in Portland, majoring in Home Economics. Her fiance, a 1970 graduate of Adrian High School is a senior at Eastern Oregon State College, majoring in Pre-law. No wedding date has been set. Senior Citizens Elect Officers The Nyssa Senior Citizens met Wednesday at the Me thodist Church social room for a Christmas potluck din ner with thirty-six in atten dance. After a bountiful dinner a business meeting was held presided over by Anna Ma- rostica, president. Erma Sparks gave the secretary's report in the absence of Merle Johnson and Edith Reece gave the treasurer's report. A report of the committees was given. Gary showed custom photo blocks, a new idea in candid photography wliere subjects are photographed in natural surroundings. They are then mounted on solid hardwood and are suitable for stand ing or hanging. The door prize was won by Dorothea Mitchell. Re freshments were served and a white elephant gift ex change caused surprised merriment ANK Gordan Club white satin with chantilly lace covering the bodice, sleeves and high collar. The yoke, waistline, hemline and lace train were trimmed with pearls. She wore a fingertip veil with a head piece trimmed to match her wedding gown. A cascading bouquet of pink roses and white stephanotis with one burgundy rose m the center completed her costume. Myrna Brown was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Noni Gordon and Sue Keeney of Salem, and junior brides maids were Terri Resare, Mission Viejo, Calif., niece of the bride, and Donna Dra per, sister of the bridegroom. All attendants wore matching long burgundy gowns with pink satin trim and carried bou quets of pink daisies, pink carnations and white snow flake poms. Alan and Angela Brown, nephew and niece of the bride, were honorary ring bearer and flower girl. Best man was Rick Fol- den of Ontario. Mrs. Rick Wheatcroft, Bend, also a sister of the bride, was at the gift tables along with Mrs. James Skousen, sister of the bridegroom, from Boise. A program was held later in the evening with Bishop and Mrs. Gardner, Mrs. Charles Winegar, Mrs. Dan Stokes, Mrs. Treva l,ea- nord, ail of Fruitland, and Jack Brown of Orem, Utah, providing the entertainment. The bride is a graduate of Bend High School. She later attended Rick's College at Rexburg, Idaho. She is em ployed at Sprouse-Reitz in Ontario. Draper is a gra duate of Nyssa High School, served a mission for the church and is now attending TVCC. He is employed at Evan's Lumber Company. The couple is making their home in Ontario MR AND MRS FRED O. KU H were honored by Nyssa City Councilmen and city employees and wives at a dinner in their honor Monday evening at Hie Twilight Cafe The Kochs (Fred and Molly) left Tuesday morning for their retirement home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
