He was named Douglas Lynn and was born September 22, 1973 and weighed seven-pounds and twelve-ounces. Douglas joins two brothers, Ronald, age 3 and Gregory age one and one- half. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Forbess of Nyssa and maternal grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Mundt of Redondo Beach, California. Church Directory St. Bridget’s Church Saturday - Vigil Mass; 7 p.m. Sunday Masses - 8 A 11 a.m. The adult's series of learning programs began September 16 and will continue October 14 with another film. The high school program is every Wednesday night at the parish hallfrom7;30to8:30p.m. The grade school program will begin on the first Sunday of Oc tober. This year the program will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. instead of on Mondays and Tues days. Preparation for First Con fession will be done through the parents beginning on Oc tober 15. There will be a three- session preparation; this will enable parents to help their children. A new church sign has been prepared in front of the church. This was the work of several parishoners, Muri Burns, Geo. Fanning, Eileen Joyce, Trish Wahlert, and Herman Towne. Confirmation preparation will begin toward the end of Oc tober. There will be four or five classes. This week’s pastor is the Reverend Dale Hayford His church is The Bible Missionary Church on the corner of N 2nd Street and Beech Avenue. REV. DALE HAYFORD Dale was born in the farm ing community of Fessenden, North Dakota. He later lived in Larimore where he atten ded Larimore Public Schools for twelve years. Following gra- • duation he entered The Bible Missionary Institute in Rock Island, Illinois. The Bible Mis sionary Institute had a work ing agreement with the nearby Moline Community College whereby students could attend the Institute for one year and transfer to Moline for the rest of their studies.
