Thurzday, September 13, 197 3 APPLE VALLEY - Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bowen and three grandchildren of Payette vial- led >n the Gene Honey home while the Rev. and Mrs.Geeaey were there on Wednesday Virginia Rookstool of Nyssa and Mr. and Mrs. Ancel Rook stool of California were recent guests of Mrs. Roy Rookstool. Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Whittom of Boise were all-day Friday visi tors of Nell Correll. Mr. and Mrs. William Knox visited Sunday-Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Hamilton at Eugene, Oregon, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Knox at Spring- The Nyssa Gate City Journal, Nyssa, Oregon field and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Knox at Bend, Oregon. While on their trip they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary at Springfield, Oregon. Dinner guests on August25 of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Honey were a niece and family of Kenne wick, Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Morrow, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Siegert and children of Marsing, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Honey of Caldwell and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Honey of Boise. Mrs. Irma Sparks was a Mon day afternoon visitor in the Gene Honey home. Monday evening, the Rev. and Mrs. George W. Geeseyandtwo children <>t Phoenix, Arizona came for several days visit. On Friday the Geeseys moved their trailer home to Karcher Mall O.K. Trailer Court where they will live for two-months while the Rev. Geesey holds EangeLstlc meetings for the First Church of God in the sur rounding communities. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fritts Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tuning and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tuning returned home Friday from a weeks camping trip at Goose Lake. Mrs. Ruth Fritts accompanied the Roswell Ladies to a tea on August 22 held at the Idaho St ate School Hospital. Teresa and Tami Fritts of Hermiston, Ore. came Monday tor a weeks visit with relatives before their school starts Sep tember 4. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Smalley returned Wednesday evening from a weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs, Robert Smalley and family at Hermiston, Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Daniels and fa- mily at Glenwood, Washington. Mr. and Mrs. William Anders of Caldwell came on Saturday for a visit in the Daniels home The men enjoyed fishing and boating on the Columbia and Klichita Rivers. Only one fish was caught. Mr and Mrs. An ders returned home on Tuesday. The Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Mittlieder of Madison, Wiscon sin, Mrs. Beverly Hixenbaugh Page Eleven and most of their families were at the parental home and appre ciated the dinner brought in by friends in the Apple Valley community. On Monday the mem bers of the Payette Seventh Day Adventist Church served dinner for the family in the Phil Bale borne in Parma at the conclu sion of the memborial service for their father and grandfa ther Alex Wagner. Mrs. Carl Eisenmenger and Mrs. Orie English were Sa turday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Nell Correll. tier son Ricky Hixenbaugh ana his fiancee, Miss Cindy Pade- rinsky of Petaluma, California were here over last weekend for their father's Alex S. Wagner memorial service on Monday, August 27. They left for their homes on Wednesday. Joy Helton of Nampa spent last week with her grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Mackey, while her parents, Capt. and Mrs. C. J. Helton were in Portland. The Heltons moved from Pendleton to Nampa recently and theCapt. will have charge of the Salvation Army there. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mackey spent the Labor Day weekend at ■ Hells Canyon at Oxbow, elder- _ berry picking.
