bill providing a Survivor Bene
fit Plan for Uniformed Ser
vices retireea. This law re
places the present RetlredSer-
viceman's Family Protection
Plan (RSFPP) for future re
tirees. Although designed for
future retirees, the provisions
of the new plan are also ap
plicable tomembers retired be
fore the date of enactment re
gardless of whether they are
participants under RSFPP.
Memtiers who are retired be-
