Andrle and Carmen Astorecaof Sunset Valley, received the gifts. The gifts were arranged by Mrs. Jack Ward, Mrs. Ray Belveai, and Miss Sandra Ward all of Nyssa. Mrs. Elver Niel sen of Sunset Valley and Mrs. Charles Killmeyer of Mentor, Ohio assisted with the flowers. The bridal bouquet thrown by the bride was caught by nine- year-old Teresa Culbertson of Sunset Valley. Dan Greig of Nyssa caught the blue lace gar ter. When the couple left for a wedding trip to Wallowa Lake, Oregon, the bride chose a yel low polyester dress with white accessories. She wore a white orchid corsage taken from her bridal bouquet. The new Mrs. Edmondson is a 1972 graduate of Adrian High School and is presently attend ing TVCC majoring in Speech Pathology. Her husband gra duated in 1971 from Nyssa High School and is employed at Sim- plot Soil builders in Nyssa, Ore. They are making their first home In Nyssa, Oregon. Julie Kay Robb became the bride of Robert Leroy Edmond son in a double-ring ceremony August 1 1, 1973 at the owyhee Community Church. Officiating at the candlelight < eremony was ttv io i i red Mann, The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Wayne Robb of Adrian and the bridegroom is the son of Mi. and Mrs Ray Edmondson of Nyssa. The sanctuary was decorated with six can tie la bras with tall pink candles and large bas- tots of white spider mums and carnations with babies pink breath. Spiral candelabra* with pink candles amid pink car nations and babies breath de corated the organ and piano. The altar centerpiece was a (large white wedding candle with pink rosebuds II was used m the candle sharing portion of the wedding service, which sig nified the couple being one. The bride, given in marriage by tier father, chose a modi fied empired styled gown of white chiffon over peau de sole with a high neckline, fitted bo dice with full sheer bishop sleeves and flowing chapel train. Both the gown and train were trimmed with Venice lace and seed pearl appliques. Her three Iler fingertip veil edged in Ve nice lace was held by a bead piece of Venice flowers encrus- trd with tiny seed pearls. Her gown featured a modified empire waist with a high neckline and bishop sleeves. Bridesmaids were Kathi Ste wart and Betty Lassiter, both of Nyssa, friends of the bride. Their floor-length gowns were fashioned identically to that of the matron of honor. Each wore matching white hats accented with a hot pink chiffon tie. Ttie bridal attendan's carried old- fashioned parasols of white lace and organza with pink rosebuds and Ivy cascades. Tanna Gifford, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Her dress was styled like the bridesmaids and she carried a white basket of pink rose petals. Bestman was Roy Belveai of Nyssa, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Ron Miller of Portland, brother-in-law of the bride and Dave Edmondson of Tacoma, Washington, brother of the bridegroom. Ringbearer was David Nielsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nielsen. He car ried a satin and lace heart-sha ped pillow with the rings. Mrs. Bjorn Dahlin, of McCall, Idaho, pr'>vided the wedding mu sic at ttie organ The Haney trio- Joyce, Barbara, and Roger sang “For Ail We Know“ and “Each For The Other.’’ They were ac companied by their mother, Mrs Boyd Haney at the piano. The bride’s mother chose a pink polyester dress with chif fon sleeves The bridegroom’s mother chose a turquoise dress with an overlay of lace. Both wore corsages of white rosebuds A reception was held imme diately following the wedding ceremony in the church base ment. The bride's table was centered with a beautiful tiered white wedding cake topped with fresh-cut pink rosebuds and babies breath. Cutting and ser ving the cake were Mrs. Philip Breshears of Parma and Mrs. Norm Butler of Baker. Mrs. Bill Hamilton of Ontario ser ved punch and Mrs. Jim Robb ot Moses Lake, Washington pou red the coffee. w Pag« Fiv« P WILSON’S ARCADIA - Mr. and Mrs. Hot Bowers and son from Federal Way, Washington visited at the Clyde Bowers home from Sunday until Tues day They were returning from their vacation in California, where they visited Disneyland and other points of interest. They moved Mrs. Bowers parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Howe's trailer house from Le- Moore, California to Clvd* Bower's place, where they will live. Mr and Mrs Howe had been working on construction work in California. They have now retired. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bullard visited in the Al Thompson home near Adrian on Sunday, It was Mrs Thompson's 86th birthday anniversary. Mr and Mrs. OrvilleCarroll and daughter from Bend visited in the Henry Carroll home Sun day afternoon. Mrs. Clyde Hoke from Cul ver, Oregon visited from Tues day until Thursday in the Clyde Bowers home. Mr and Mrs. Philip Davis and Bertha Matherly visited Thompson in Emmett Sunday. Mrs. Thompson is an aunt of Mrs. Matherly and Mrs. Davis. Mr and Mrs. Clyde Bowers and Mr and Mrs Don Bowers and family were guests Sunday, August 20 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Callahan in Boise. The occasion being Charles Bowers’ 90th birthday anniversary. Mr and Mrs. Doyle Carroll and Francine and Daylene from Mountain Home were Saturday night guests in the Henry Car roll home They were return ing from a week's vacation in Kellogg, Idaho. Mr and Mrs. ErnestStephen- sen. Dr. Ken Pfaff and family from Ontario, and Mr and Mrs. Gene Orr and family from Nyssa returned Sunday from five days camping on the Imnaha river in Hells canyon On Saturday Mr and Mrs. Roger Gleanson from Boise joined them They were near where the forest fires were and had to move near the Snake river Mrs. Orville Needs’ aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Les her from Casper, Wyoming and an aunt Mrs. Gene McKeown from Vanita Springs, Florida have been visiting her the past week. On Saturday other visi tors in the Needs’ home were Mr. and Mrs. Ern Falk from Payette, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lesher from Caldwell, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Carte, of Caldwell Alice Morrison and son Fritz, Portland, Needs' daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Perkins and fa mily, Boise. Her granddaugh ter Janice Sue Perkins re mained for a week's visit.
