Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Haburchak announce the engagement
of their daughter, Mary Christine to Marlin Richard Kline of
Corvallis, Oregon. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin E.
Kline of Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Mary Christine was a 1971 graduate of Nyssa HighSchool
and will be a Junior in Home Economics at Oregon State.
Her fiance graduated from Wayland High School, Wayland,
Massachusetts in 1968. He will be a Junior in Business and
Technology at Oregon State.
A September 1 wedding is planned at St. Bridget's Catholic
Church.

and Mrs. Eastwood is employed
at Wilson’s Department Store

gion Auxiliary hosted a tea for
the delegates who will be lea
ving for Girls
State soon.
The tea was held Saturday,
June 2 at the La PalomaCafe
in Ontario. All the girls and
their mothers were guests of
honor at the tea from the
local area, including Adnan,
Vale, Nyssa and Ontario.
Representing Nyssa were
Beth Ann Kassman, delegate
and Shelly Munn, alternate and
their mothers and five of the
Nyssa Auxiliary Unit members.
