Jr. visited the Ray Benzon’s
in Payette Saturday evening.
The Nu Acres Farmerettes
met at theCommunity Hall Wed­
nesday afternoon. Mrs. Robert
Shaw and Mrs. Alfred Maine
were hostesses. There were
nine members and two guests
present.
After the business
meeting Mrs. Daylene Peterson
gave a demonstration on com­
munication. Refreshments were
served by the hostesses.
Mrs. Lloyd Carpenter and
Mrs. Forrest Carpenter went
to Nampa Tuesday to visit Lloyd
who is a patient at the Mercy
Hospital.
Mrs. Robert Shaw visited
Mrs. Calvin Conner Wednesday
evening.
Mrs. Conner hasn’t
been feeling very well so didn't
get out to club.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Payne met
the Syl Woodlands in Parma
Thursday afternoon and watched
the 7th and 8th grade boys
wrestle the Nyssa teams. For­
rest Woodland won his match.
The Ben Paynes went home with
the Woodlands and had supper.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert 9iaw,
Sr. visited the Dennis Winters
at Melba Sunday and saw their
little baby girl, Denise Raelene.
The polyester Jacket lessons
were canceled last Tuesday be­
cause Mrs. Daylene Peterson
was on the sick list.
They
will finish their jackets this
week. The jackets are looking
real good.
