Mrs. Dyre Roberts accom panied her sisters, Mrs. Mane Douglas and Mrs. Burton Blades to Boise Tuesday where they attended the funeral services for an old friend, Claude Hoo- bing. Mrs. Phil Clue as returned home from Lind. Washington, Wetfriesday evening, where she had been caring for her dau ghter. Mrs. Ptul Kent and new son. Mr. and Mrs. Varner Hop- kins visited Mrs. Creola Betts in Boise Sunday. Danny Chaney had the mis- fortune of losing his prize 4-H jersey cow and her calf last week. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Silloms of Orofino, Idaho spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Sillonis. Mr. and Mrs. David Chaney and family left Thursday for their home in Orona. Texas following a ten-day visit here with relatives. Rosie Shirk attended a Sun day School party Saturday eve ning in Adrian. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wood returned last week from a two- week visit with relatives and friends near Mountain Grove, Missouri and in Wichita, Ka. Mrs. Josie Roadman left Sun day for her home in Springfield, Oregon following a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cartwright and family. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Slippy and family of Owyhee Corners were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Clucas. Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bennett returned home Monday from an outing to hell’s Canyon, where they reported it was too cold for good fishing.
