High School.
He joined the
Navy in May. and completedhis
recruit training at the Naval
Training Center, San Diego,
California.
He was one of
1750 men who graduated Au
gust 4, the largest in the base’s
history.
Ocamica was a squad leader
of Special Company 923, and
was Oregon Flag Bearer for the

School graduating class of 1947
