Without the important assistance of community service-minded or ganizations such as yours, many thousands of Oregon Home owners would not have received benefits available to them from this new tax relief measure. The cooperation extended by all the news media in publi cizing this new law was out standing and extremely grati fying to me as a former prac titioner of the news craft. I am certain that all homeowners who received benefits as a re sult of your excellent coverage join with me in saying “Thanks for a job well done.” Sincerely, Tom McCall, Governor Wayne Y.
