Campus, June 12-15. Malheur
District No. 11 will host the
convention. All Garden Club

Barbara Hepler is a nationally
accredited
amateur flower
show judge and landscape de
sign critic, and was Idaho’s
recipient of the Arranger of the
Year Award in 1968 and 1969.
She has presented lectures, de
monstrations and workshops,
throughout Idaho and adjacent
states. She is a charter mem
ber and first president of the
Hill and Valley Garden Club,
Kendrick, Idaho;
immediate
past district director of the
Clearwater District and is now
first vice-president of the Idaho
State Federation of Garden
Clubs.
As a farm wife on a dry
land wheat ranch in north cen
tral Idaho, she became interes
ted in all facets of horticul
ture, especially the culture of
daffodils and chrysanthemums.
She grows much of the ma
terial she uses in her arrange
ments and believes that the
artistic use of plants is the most
satisfying expression of garden
club work.
