This gives them a 10-2 record for the season, after suffering the two losses by a combined total of 4 points. The game was close all the way until the final few minutes of the game when the Bulldogs pulled away. Nyssa led 13-12 after one quarter and 28-25 at halftime. Crook County led by three points, 41-38 at the start of the fourth quarter before the Bulldogs made their more. Greg Blanch was high with 25 points, followed by Rod Lewis with 14. Nyssa JV’s won the prelimi nary game over Prineville by 61-33, with Jeff Marquez high with 17 points, followed by Ken Steward with 14.
