Young Repeat December Wedding Vows Mr. and Mrs. William Hawker of Nu Acres, announce the en gagement of their daughter, Rose to Terry Harrison. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Harrisoij. of Cambridge, Idaho. Miss Hawker was gra duated from Fruitland High School in 1970. Terry attended Cambridge High School his senior year and graduated in 1970. A definate date has not been set for the wedding. I BBi I I ■■ I I IBB I I MO I I MB I Kingman Kolony Tanya Atagi, Mary Escobedo and Donna Oldemeyer of Junior Troop #683 are displaying cookies that they and other mem bers of the Girl Scouts of the Silver Sage Council will be sell ing throughout the city. The girls will be taking advance orders this year, starting February 1-18 and cookies will be deli- vered March 31 thru April 13. When the Girl Scouts come to your doorstep early in February to take your order for cookies, don’t think you have misplaced an entire month. Although they don’t usually come around until March, it is a different story this year, so the Girl Scouts would like for you to be aware of it so they can make sure to visit all of you. The girls of the Silver Sage Council are working on the "advance” sale. This means that from February 1 through February 18, they will come to you to get your order. They will have illustrated order forms so that you can see what you are buying. After the orders have been collected by Mrs. Don Olde meyer, Nyssa cookie chairman, the entire order will be sent to the cookie company. At the end of March the cookies will be delivered to you by the same girl who took your order in February, The Girl Scoutswill be able to get cookies re-or dered within 24 hours of asking, so there will be no difficulty in filling requests. The girls will collect the money at de livery time. If a Girl Scout does not call on you, please call Mrs. Dan Oldemc;"''' at 372-3593 and she will arrange for your order. With the exception of the creme sandwich which is a standard item with the Girl Scouts, the other cookies are new this year: Dutch Dainties, a shortbread of different de sign; a chocolate confection, and an oatmeal creme. Profits of the cookies sales are used to maintain the Scout resident Camp Alice Pittenger at McCall, Tendoy at Pocatello, TA—MAN-WIS Camp at Irwin; pine Creek at Salmon and troop camp sites at Baker and Lake Creek in Oregon, Boise Ridge, Camp Wilson and Po catello Creek in Idaho. Equipment for day, troop and resident camps is purchased and operation expenses involved in the general scoutingprogram are also supported by the cookie sale. MERRY WIDOWS The Merry Widows met at the home of Mrs. Hazel Pounds January 22. All members were present for the C:30 dinner, after which they enjoyed playing pinochle. Hostesses were Mmes.
