Page Three LETTER jro ^ editor * Editor, The Journal: Please findenclosed my check for another years subscription for my home town paper, which I enjoy getting so much. It is almost like getting a letter from home. Hearing about my old friends and family. I haven’t lived there for many years, but it is still my home town, I feel. Hermiston is a great place to live also. They do so much for retired and older people. Each year they give free passes to all four days of the Umatilla County Fair, also passes to all school activities, which I think is great. The weekly paper. The Her miston Herald, gives a reduct ion to everyone on Social Se curity, which also helps many people. So here’s to reading the Gate City Journal another year.
