Mr. and Mrs. Milton Osgood and Pam of Middleton were Wednesday evening callers of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mell. Dr. and Mrs. Fred Conkel drove to McCall Sunday to see the Snow Carnival. They re ported the statues were very beautiful and a large crowd was there. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Baxter called Sunday on Mrs. Frone Burke in Caldwell. Mrs. Burke is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Mike McKague, Mrs. Effie Nielsen, and Mrs. Ralph Baxter recently attended the Federal Land Bank annual meeting and dinner in Cald well. Mr. and Mrs. Mike McKague had dinner Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Len Dykstra in On tario. Mrs. Effie Nielsen attended the Christian Women’s meeting at the La Paloma in Ontario Wednesday. Tuesday noon, Mrs. Nielsen and Mrs. Baxter attended the Groung Hog Dinner at the BrethrenChurch in Fruit land. Mrs. Robert A. Shaw returned Sunday from Kansas City where she had been visiting her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Clarkson. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Payne were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Olsen of Huntington. They also visited with old friends, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rudell.
