COUPLE HONORED AT OPEN HOUSE Approximately 70 friends at tended the open house held Saturday evening, January 30, at 405 South 7th Street to honor Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gardner, nee Verda Simpson, who were married January 22 in Win- nemucca. Kindergarten Group Entertain Mothers Mrs. Tom Mitchell’s Kinder garten students presented a Winter Program for their mo- thers, Thursday, January 29 in the kindergarten rooms of the Mitchell home. The program consisted of winter songs and recitations. A presentation of their learn ing exercises pertaining to the alphabet, numbers and phonics, preceeded the dramatization of "The Bears In Winter Time.” Refreshments were served.
