FHA Meeting, 8 p.m. JAN. 28 - Wrestling, here, Wesier and Nampa, 7 p.m. AHS CALENDAR The Brig Olsen home was the scene of a wedding reception openhouse party honoring their son, Chad and his new bride, the former Brenda Lewman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Lewman of Parma, who were married December 28, in Win nemucca, Nevada. Over 150 guests attended the affair in the Olsen home. Mr. and. Mrs. Neil Petterson, and Jody Seely of Parma, were in charge of refreshments and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Petterson were in charge of gifts. The new Mrs. Olsen chose a street-length dress of white crepe trimmed with gold braid and colored sequins, while her mother wore a three-piece winter green knit dress, and Mrs. Brig Olsen wore a blue one-piece knit dress. The corsages and boutonnieres were of yellow roses. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Adams were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Hill of Apple Valley. Mrs. Jack Ward and Sandra and Mrs. Russ Talbot were some of the women of the Plea sant Hour Club who helped quilt on a blanket Thursday at the Ira Price home. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fenn and children visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Savage and family. Mrs. Glen Hoffman visited Mrs. Ray Griffitts Monday af ternoon. Mrs. Lester Cleaver attended the state PTA Board of Mana gers last week at Portland. She was a house guest of Tru man Cleaver and family while there. Mr. and Mrs. John Cleaver have moved to Ontario. They have purchased a mobile home. Mrs. Lester Cleaver attended a Studio Girl Regional Meeting Sunday at the Downtowner Mo tel. Jim Taylor, the vice presi dent of the company met with them. Mr. and Mrs. Russ Talbot were Sunday dinner guests of Hazel Chamberlain in Nyssa. Mrs. Alzina Salters and Mrs. Guy Tanner went to Nampa Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hoffman visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tanner. Barbara Tanner arrived to take Kim Tanner with her Wed nesday night and they stayed from Wednesday until Saturday in Boise. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Simpson and family visited Mrs. Dave Savage and children Friday afternoon. Marci and Lori Fenn of On tario were Saturday overnight guests of Norene and Teresa Savage. JAN. 28 - TV Laura is a sophomore at Valparaiso University in Valpa Club, Roswell raiso, Indiana and is majoring in speech and drama. Robert, a senior at Oregon State University, is an Agricultural Engineering Technology major. A definite wedding date has not been selected by the engaged Saturday night couple. REBEKAHS MEET . Yellow Rose Rebekah Lodge met at the IOOF Hall, January 12, with 18 members and six guests from Beatrice Rebekah Lodge #82 of Ontario attending. Hostesses for the evening were Wilma Ostrom, Alma Kingery, Nellie Jenkins and Verna Mar tin. Noble Grand Virginia Rook stool presided at the meeting. Sister Hazel Leavitt, District Deputy President, and staff from Ontario, introduced Sis ters Lucille Prahl, Ruby Phost, Oneita Bisbee, Gwendolyn Hat field and Wilma Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Savage and family were Sunday dinner guests of her uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Warren in Nampa. Mrs. Burton Barns and Mrs. Robert Long went to La Grande Saturday to a teachers' meeting and their husbands, Burton and Robert, went to Pendleton. Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Eason of Homedale spent from Friday until Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Simp son and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Benny Beach at Vale Sun day afternoon. They found lots of water on the road near Vale. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eason of Parma were Thursday evening callers of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.C. McDermott. Jerry Larson of Climax, Minn., and his friend, Wayne Wegge of Cummings, N.D., ar rived Thursday and visited in the Gerrit Timmerman home until Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spence and Missy of Boise and Gene Worden of Fort Sill, Oklahoma came Saturday to visit Gene’s mother, Mrs. Frankie Worden, and his grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Worden. TheFredSpence family spent the week end. Gene has a 20-day leave from Fort Sill. Mrs. M.L. Judd attended ANK Garden Club Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Blake Lowell in Rosewell. Mrs. M.L.
