Page Four Idaho Falls Temple Scene of Peterson - Hansen Rites The autumn colors of avacado, mint green, apricot, tangerine and yellow were carried out in baskets of gladioli and spider mums for the wedding of Vicki Lyn Peterson and Wesley M. Hansen, Jr., in a ceremony performed August 29, 1970 at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Farrell Peter son of Nyssa and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Hansen, Sr. of Vale. The bride wore a traditional white satin floor-length gown. It featured full bishop sleeves gathered into deep cuffs. The •round neckline, bodice, waist and cuffs were accented with rinestones circled with seed pearls. Her French tulle veil was held to a triple satin bow. It and the veil were also trimmed with seed pearl cir cled rinestones. She carried a bridal bouquet of white car- nations centered with apricot colored roses. Mrs. Rick Postelwaite of Ontario, matron of honor, wore a floor-length empire waisted gown of mint green accented with bright green velvet ribbon. Miss Judy Grigg of Vale at tended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Juli Peter son of Nyssa; Lorellyn Hansen of Vale; and Diane Haney of Salem. They wore matching floor length empire waisted gowns of pale apricot accented with tangerine velvet ribbon. All bridal attendants carried nosegays of yellow mums cen tered with apricto roses and matching streamers. Bestman was Jack West of Vale. The groom’s mother chose a mint green street length dress and a white Cym bidium orchid corsage. For her wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park the new Mrs. Hansen changed to a white polyester knit, accented with black buttons. A reception honoring the couple was held September 4, at the Owyhee Ward LDSChurch. The beautiful three tiered wedding cake, topped with a miniture bride and groom and decorated with swans, white ribbons, orange bells and roses centered tlie serving table. The reception carried out the bridal colors with feather flower centerpieces of green, apricot, tangerine and yellow. Posts decorated with avacado green ribbon and streamers led the way to the reception line. Serving the cake and punch were Mmes. Merrill Call, Irvin Durfee, Robert Munn, Richard Wagstaff, Clyde Bybee and Vai Garner. Also assisting were Carla Peterson of Cald well, Shanna Munn, Launa Gay Schulthies, Lila Berrett and Jamie Garner. Receiving gifts were Wynn and Dana Peterson of Caldwell, also Alan Peterson, Larry Peterson, Wendy Webster, Deb bie, Darla, and Kevin Fulk of Elgin, Oregon. Assisting at the gift table were Mrs. Dale Peterson, Iris Webster, Mrs. Dennis Fulk, Dee Ann Peter son and Mrs. Clinton Robbins. A program followed with Rick Postelwaite acting as master of ceremonies. June and Susan Hartley sang "The Wedding Prayer”, and Jay Gibson sang “Because”. They were accom panied by Dee Ann Peterson.
