During the first few minutes of play Nyssa jumped to an early lead, but was unable to maintain the margin. At the end of the first half the score stood at 25-23 with Parma leading by two points. After halftime, the Panthers came out and scored 11 points during the third quarter and then went cold during the fourth period of play. Meanwhile the Bulldogs started closing the gap. The final buzzer found the score 38-36 in favor of Parma. Leading both teams in the scoring division was Johnson of Parma who scored 21 points. Other scorersfrom Parma were Sells - 9, Hopkins - 4, Scott - 2, Smyth - 2. Nyssa’s high point man was D. Manley who totaled 14 points the rest of Nyssa’s squad inclu ded Lewis - 11, J.
