JERALD DENNIS McCAIN Miss Patricia Marie Neely became the bride of Jerald Dennis McCain in a double ring ceremony performed at 8 p.m., October 18, 1969, in the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Ontario. The ceremony was solemnized in the presence of one hundred guests by the Rev. Orville Jacobson of Nys sa. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white satin, A-line floor length gown, fashioned with a lace yolk, three quarter-length bell sleeves and a lace train, Her veil was shoulder-length tulle netting. She carried a bouquet of orange gladiolas. Matron of honor was a sis ter of the bride, Mrs. Sandra Benoit. Her gown was orange crystalet, accented with white. She carried a bouquet of white gladiolas. Attending as bridesmaids were Kay Neely, sister of the bride, and Bunny McCain, sis ter of the groom They wore matching empire style dresses of orange velvet and each car ried a long stemmed whit* glad ioli. Serving as best man was Don Beebe, while ushers were Bruce Spelman and Allen Benoit, bro ther-in-law of the bride. Soloist was Mrs. Tom Nishi- tani accompanied by Kim Her- mansen. Becky Tyner, sister of the bride was flower girl. The church was decorated wifi two baskets of orange gladiolas and candleabra with white tapes. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Tyner wore a white double knit dress and an orange gladi oli corsage. LEGION NEWS JOB'S DAUGHTERS ACTIVITIES Job's Daughters held their regular meeting, Nov. 6, with Joyce Jennings, Honored Queen presiding. Escorts and Introductions were Kathy Nelson, Jr. past Honored Queen; Marlene Jam ieson, grand Bethel Parlia mentarian; and guardian and associate quardian, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Holmes. Jobies will meet at 6:00 on their regular date to make favors for Hospital trays. Charlene Kido was chosen as Jobie of the meeting. Refreshments were served. Adrian Sewing Club Meets The Old Fashioned Sewers met Monday, Nov. 3, after school at the Adrian High School. The meeting was pre sided over by president Lori Powell. We studied the parts of the sewing machine and dis cussed what we are going to make this year. MR AND MRS JAMES KING Laura Mackey became the bride of James King, October 9, 1969, during a 9 o’clock ceremony performed by Chap lain Rogers at Chanute Air Force Base Chapel in Florida. The double ring ceremony was performed in the presence of 15 guests, Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Mackey of Adrian, and Ted King of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Ontario. Miss Mackey was given in marriage by Mike Robb. The new Mrs. King was at tired in a floor-length gown of white brocade satin, Lilly of the Valley, a nylon veil and long- pointed wrist-length sleeves. Her dress was accented withan empire waist and a bow. She also wore a brooch belonging to her grandmother, Mrs. E.M. Mackey of Adrian and carried a handkerchief also belonging to her grandmother. Her bouquet was of yellow and white flowers. Matron of honor was Mrs. Pat Costello, with Sgt. Donerger as best man. A reception was held at NCO club by members of the wedding party. The bride graduated from A- drian High School and Western Beauty College in Ontario. The bridegroom graduated from Ontario High School and Treasurer Valley Commu nity College also in Ontario. The newlyweds are now re siding at 404 N. High St., Apt. 4, Rantoul, Illinois. BIRTHDAY DINNER Mr. and Mrs. L. E.
