PAGE FOUR NEWS FROM BIG BEND Members of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin C. Swensen met July 12, 1969 at the Ki- wanis park in Payette. The re union honored their 60th wed ding anniversary. Hosts and hostesses for the family picnic were the hono rees’ children, Mr. and Mrs. Orvan Obray of New Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Cornish of Payette; Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Meek of Preston, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Max C. Swensen of Greenville, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Dave Bateman of Boise, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Swensen of Moab, Utah. All members of the Swensens’ immediate family were present except 14 of their 28 grand children and 25 great-grand children. MERRY MATRONS MR. AND MRS. JAMES DAVID MOSIER Saturday, July 12, 1969 was the wedding date of Miss Vicki Sue DeHaven of Adrian and James David Mosier of Vale. A former Adrian pastor, the Rev. Elmer Rosenkilde, of Nampa performed the double ring ceremony at two o’clock in the afternoon at Kingman Me morial United Presbyterian church in Adrian. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George De Haven of Adrian and the bride groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest D. Mosier of The Dalles. Yellow and white crysanthe- mums, roses and gladioli were used to decorate the church. Soloist was Ernie Lewis of Homedale, and organist was Mrs. Betty Jean Phifer of the Kingman Kolony area near Ad rian.
