Sherman Kecx and Keith drove to Clearfield, Utah to help move some belongings here for the Kenneth Kecks. They are leaving soon for In diana. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Coles, Chris and Terry ofNampawere June 1 dinner guests of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden J. Bryan. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wise moved recently to New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Gras- mick attended the recent wedd ing rites of Donald Schuster and Lorene Fischer at the Lutheran church in New Plymouth. Chester Pulsipher of Arizona arrived May 30 for Memorial Day and left on the evening of June 1. While here lie stayed at the Herman Towne home in Nyssa but spent much time with his father, George Pulsipher. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Haggerty, Sr. visited June 1 in the Pul sipher home. The Rev. and Mrs. Karl Evans and family of Shady Dale, Ga.; The Rev. and Mrs. Sam Se bring of Greenwood,S.C.; spent Memorial weekend with Karl’s i parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Evans. Other weekend visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Binga man of Boise, Mrs. Larry Ziegler and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Russell and family, Mrs. Lucy Evans and Miss Janice Evans. The Evans and Sebring families left June 1 to attend the annual conference of the United Methodist church in Salem where the two men are to be ordained. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Bues and family arrived May 29 from Othello, Wash., to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pulsipher. Leia Fry arrived home May 29. She had been attending Brig ham Young University at Provo. Frank Fry went to Provo re cently to get his brother, Jesse who had been attending BYU. While in Utah he visited a brother, Roger Jenkins and family. On June 6, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ward and John nie visited in the Fenn home. Mrs. Thelma Hammon and Mrs. Roy Swanson of Roswell went to Ogden, Uah on May 29 when they visited the former’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Roylance; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Harold Roylance and daughter, Leila who was visit ing there from California. They also visited Mrs. Hammon’s friend, Mrs. Veloy Wheeler of Stockton, Calif. The women returned home on June 3. Mrs. Hammon’s nephew, Gary Goulding from western Oregon arrived on June 6. He was vacationing between school terms. 7Tie student spent the weekend visiting relatives and longtime friends in this area. Goulding, his mother of Ontario and Karen Sorlien of Caldwell were June 8 dinner guests of Mrs. Thelma Hammon and son, Bill. Mr. and Mrs. Don Nelson spent Memorial weekend in Sa lem where they visited his bro ther, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nel son and family. June 8 dinner guests of the Nelsons were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Ed McVicker of Vale; Mr. and Mrs. Herb Wenke and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Kurtz and family recently moved to Jor dan Valley where he will work on the Bill Ross ranch. The M. L. Kurtz ranch has been purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Webster. Guest players were Edythe Prosser, Rose Willis and Elsie Diven of Nys sa. Prize winners were Thelma Hammon, Gnetty Piercy, Goldie Roberts and Mrs. Willis. Bud McDermott of Marsing arrived June 8 to get his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Mc Dermott. He took them to his home for dinner. Gene Worden and a friend, Vic Espinosa visited June 7 with Mrs. Frankie Worden and Mrs. Fred Spence. Mrs. Dave Savage and girls and Pamela Tanner were June 8 afternoon visitors in the home of Mrs. Savage’s mother, Mrs. Carl Fenn. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson were June 6 evening dinner guests in the Alfred Simpson home. Karen, Selma, Alene, Johnnie Simpson and Carl Brock re cently went to the Portland area. They spent several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Holdt at Vancouver, Wash., the Raymond Simpson and Duane Shelley families of Gresham and the Donald Fenn family at Mil waukie, Ore. They returned home on the evening of June 8. Carolyn Pratt was among those attending a June 7 evening party, given by Cherryl Cutler. Mmes. Rollo and Carl Fenn were June 5 luncheon guests of the Duane Fenn family in Ontario. Rollo Fenn, Elsmore Fenn of Homedale and Louis Fenn of Roseburg went fish ing that day at Malheur. Roseburg to visit Mr. and Mrs. Gene Simpson. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Packer of Ontario visited recently with Louis Fenn in the Alfred Simpson home. On June 5, Elsmore Fenn of Homedale, Louis Fenn, the Rollo Fenns and Mrs. Carl Fenn were din ner guests of the Alfred Simp sons. Mrs. Frankie Worden, Mrs. Fred Spence and baby attended June 7 graduation rites at the College of Idaho in Caldwell. Gene Worden was among the graduates. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Van De water and Kent of Big Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Begeman were June 8 dinner guests of Mrs. Dale Witt. Fifteen members of the Adrian Garden club met June 3 in the home of Mrs. Burton Barnes, with Mrs. Betty Samer as co-hostess. Mrs. Ernest Seuell gave the lesson on roses. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simpson were June 7 evening dinner guests of the Johnnie Easons at a cafe in Homedale. Mrs. Eason and sons spent June 8 with Mrs. Simpson while their husbands were fishing on Owy hee reservoir. ZZL- io Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Ricks of Teton City, Ida., were June 3 visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Riggs. They were on their way to Moses Lake, Wash. The Riggs spent the weekend of June 6-8 in Lebanon and Cor vallis, Ore. They visited their sons, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Riggs and Doyle Riggs. While there they attended the June 7, Strawberry Festival parade in Lebanon and commencement exercises at Oregon State Uni versity in Corvallis, where their son, Wayne was among those receiving degrees. He was, also, commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force reserve. » * • Dr. and Mrs. K. E. Kerby returned June 1 from Wallowa lake where Mrs. Kerby had spent ten days. She was joined by Dr. Kerby the evening of May 27.
