Thunderettes Meet
A meeting of the Thunder-
etts was held Feb. 7 in the meet­
ing room of the Nyssa library.
Guest speakers were Bernard
Eastman and Wayne Moncur
who discussed the Annual Thun­
deregg Days dated in August.
Purpose of Thunderettes or­
ganization is to serve the com­
munity in any possible way, to
serve as a welcoming and get-
acquainted group for newcom­
ers to the community, and to
study topics of immediate civ­
ic and social interests.
Anyone interested in joining

uate of Nyssa High School and

Arts. He is also in the Air
Force division of the National
Guard and ranches with his
father.

Fruitland, Buhl and Kimberly,
Idaho; Dutton, Mont.; Hereford,
Vale, Ontario, Willow Creek,
and Woodburn, Ore.
The bride was honored with a
pre-nuptial shower at the home
of Mrs. Alva Goodell, with Mrs.
Dick Miller and Mrs. Glenn
Strickland assisting.
The newlyweds are residing
on a ranch south of Nyssa.

Mrs. Tom Nishitani, accom­
panied by her daughter, Lissa,

“More”. While the couple knelt
at the altar, she sang “The
Wedding Prayer”.
For her daughter’s wedding,
Mrs. Somers chose a dress of
coral wool with gold and brown
accessories. The bridegroom’s
mother was attired in a three-
piece knit suit of aqua-blue,
and black accessories. Each
wore a corsage of white rose­
buds, trimmed with ribbon and
rhinestones.
