bride from Orovada, Nev.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rookstool
and Frank and Richard Wood­
lawn, all of Orovada, Nev., ar­
rived Feb. 3 to visit Mrs. Edith
Whipple. The men left Feb. 6
for Nevada and returned to this
area Saturday evening.
Miss Mary Anne Little ar­
rived Feb. 8 and was an over­
night guest in the home of Mrs.
Edith Whipple. Mrs. Ted Rook­
stool and Frank, Miss Little,
Kenneth and Edith Whipple vis­
ited Feb. 9 in the Woodrow
Seuell home. It is reported that
the Seuell’s daughter, Peggy,
was in a one-car collision en­
route home from The Dalles,
Ore. She suffered no severe
injuries, but was bruised and
shaken.

visited Feb. 9 with Mr. and Mrs.
Arlo Miller and Ruth at Parma.
Mrs. Carl Hopper of Ontario
visited Feb. 8-9 with her par­
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Junior Mat­

Marjorie and Mary Looney
were Feb. 8 overnight guests
of the former’s son, Mr. and
Mrs. Larry Looney and daugh­
ters at Boise. In the evening
Mrs. Looney took her grand­
daughters to the stage presen­
tation of “West Side Story”
staged by Borah students at the
Capitol High auditorium. Sun­
day, they all spent the day ski­
ing at Bogus Basin.
Mrs. Ray Drown of Nyssa
visited Feb. 9 with her sis­
ter, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Ash­
craft. On Feb. 8, Mrs. Bob
Hamilton of Boise visited her
parents, the W. E. Ashcrafts.

annual coffee hour for the heart
fund on the afternoon of Feb.
6 at the Herschel Thompson
home.
Twenty-eight area residents
were served cookies and cof­
fee by the club women, and
a total of $32 was collected.
Next meeting of the Polly­
annas will be Thursday, March
6 in the home of Mrs. Jesse
Martinez.
