OPEN INSTALLATION RITES HELD FOR JOB’S DAUGHTERS KATHY NELSON Open installation for Jobs Daughters of Bethel 33 was held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 22,1968 with retiring Honored Queen Joann Timmerman aspresiding officer. Preceding the installation rites the Majority Degree was held for Marilyn Gonyer, Flor- ene Kygar Robinson and Judy Wilson Martin. The 4:30 p. m. double-ring rites were performed by the Rev. Orville Jacobson at Faith Lutheran church, in the pres ence of members of the immed iate families. The altar was graced with an Advent log and Christmas tree, trimmed with white, sil ver and gold Chrismans, hand made by women of the church. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wenke of route 1, Nyssa; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lawson of Sparks, Nev. The bride was attired in a street-length gown of white ny lon jersey, with over-skirt of white and silver lace. She car ried a cascading bouquet of red carnations, with silver and white trim. Valerie Lawson, sister of the bridegroom, in a street-length dress of red wool and carrying red and white varigated car nations, attended as maid of honor. Michael Wenke, brother of the bride, served as best man. Following the wedding rites, a dinner was served at Mc- Garvin’s Smorquet in Caldwell.
