Mrs. Josie Roadman and Mrs. Sarah Cartwright visited Nov. 2 with their mother, Mrs. Naomi Wright in Nampa. Mr. and Mrs. John Packwood visited on the afternoon of Nov. 3 with Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Ketner in Marsing. Mrs. Josie Roadman left on the morning of Nov. 3 for her home in Springfield, Ore., hav ing been called here by the death of her sister, Mrs. Gertye Law ler of Meridian. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Mann of Caldwell, Mrs. Flossie Shelton and Lona of Nyssa were Nov. 3 afternoon visitors in the Chet Smith home. Miss Cathy Samer of Ontario visited on the afternoon of Oct. 26 with Mrs. Jim Sheehan and Mrs. Edythe Prosser. Mr. and Mrs. RayCartwright visited on the afternoon of Nov. 3 with Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Bar bee in Fruitland. Later they cal led on Mrs. Wilma Bernard and Jeff in Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wood and family visited Nov. 3 in the Elmer Wood home. BIG BEND - Mr. and Mrs. R- G. Patterson of Boise were Oct. 28 luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Packwood. Mr. and Mrs. Chet Smith, Mrs. Pearle Abbott and Mrs. Myrna Westfall returned home Oct. 28 from Grants Pass, Ore. Mrs. Florence Ocamica and Regina have rented a home in Caldwell and moved there dur ing the weekend. Mrs. Dyre Roberts helped en tertain the six winners of the Happy Doien card club on the afternoon of Nov. 1 at the home of Mrs. Wesley Piercy in Ad rian. Mrs. Edythe Prosser was guest player. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Page became parents of a son born Oct. 31, 1968 at Malheur Mem orial hospital in Nyssa. Mrs. Floyd Wood of Marsing was a recent morning visitor in the Elmer Wood home. Charles Witty entered Cald well Memorial hospital on Oct. 29 and underwent minor surgery the following F riday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tuning, all of Baker, were Nov. 3 visitors in the Don Fritts home. They were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fritts. On Saturday they attended funeral services for Mrs. Elsa Gale at Meridian. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dibble and children of Boise were Nov. 3 evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dibble. Mrs. Dibble was celebrating a birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Mast were Nov. 3 afternoon visitors in the Lloyd Dibble home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kellogg left Oct. 24 for Olympia, Wash., to visit their daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. Winston Ketchum and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Calvin and Kari Lynn of Boise and Danny Ketchum of Nazarene college in Nampa were Nov. 1 overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Saunders. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Clausen of Emmett, the Rev. Wesley Hoeckle of Texas were Nov. 3 evening visitors in the Ken neth Saunders home. The Gordon Corrells left Nov. 1 for their home.
