Local Auxiliary Is Sole Donor Due to a misunderstanding in communications between wo men of the Eagles auxiliary and a Journal reporter, an er ror was made in a recent story about the gift of a wheelchair given to Linda Simpson and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don ald (Gene) Simpson. The Journal article stated that a part of the funds came from the state organization, however, that statement was in error. The money was pro vided entirely by the local aux iliary. This reporter believes that the misunderstanding tame about due to the fact that Nyssa Auxiliary Past President Elaine Olsen is now rehabilitation chairman for the State drgln- ization and at that time, jt was merely supposed that the pro ject was handled jointly. * The Journal’s apologies to members of the FOE auxiliary. The fact that the local women did provide all the funds, makes i. an even greater gift’for a u.i appreciative family of this area.
