OREGON rushing, with Tailman adding another 58 yards via the air. Franks started the Adrian scoring with a two-yard run late in the first quarter, and Steve Kriegh kicked the extra point. Early in the second per iod, Tailman scored on a four- yard run. but Kriegh missed this try, and the half ended 13-0. The Antelopes scored twice in the third stanza, with Tail man throwing a 35-yard touch down pass to Tim Holly and Franks plunging two yards for the six-point score. Kriegh’s kicks were both good, giving Adrian a 27-0 lead after three quarters of play. Late in the fourth quarter, Dan Cutler and Earl Stoker tackled Goff in the Wilder end-zone, giving Adrian a 29-0 win. Cutler and Julian Flores for their outstanding defensive play. These youths, plus th«* remainder of the Adrian defense squad held W ilder to three first downs and a total of 73-yards gained both rushing and pass ing. Adrian’s next game will b«’ against a very tough Notus team which is 3-0 in leagu«' play, and 4-1-1 for the season. To date it looks like thesi* two clubs may decide th«' A-4 SRV league championship. Coach Bates feels that Notus has a good team and is the squad to beat in th«' league. The Idaho team has a good running and passing game, but Bates says he feels his team. it they are up for the game, could give Notus a real run for their money. This contest will be at Adrian Friday evening, Oct. 20. It is also the A IIS homecoming event. NJHS Grid Scores On Sept. 22, th«» Parma JH Pantht'rs took a close 7-0 win from th«> NJHS Bulldogs on th«* Nyssa field. The NJHS tiulldogs defeated th«> Vallivu«' Falcons by a 7-6 final score Sept. 29 on the Idaho gridiron. A third-quarter touc hdown was set up on a 40-yard run by Scott Engstrom.
