Tim is a member of the Future Farmers of America, Adrian chapter. Mrs. Waldo Smalley Lester Robinson of Eugen»' arrived Friday to take his fam ily home. Mrs. Robinson had been recuperating at the h<>mo of her parents, the Bruce Govers in Nyssa. She under went surgery about a month ago. They were overnight guests Saturday andSunday din ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Seward. Mr. and Mt s. Waldo Smalley are grandparents of a girl born August 17 to their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dr uglas Daniels of Glenwood, W.i>h Mr and Mrs. Dwight Seward, Sirrley and Gary were August 17 guests for homemade ice cream at the Leroy Sew ird home. Later, Shirley and Gary 1 >ft by car for Kansas City where Shirley will teach this fall. They stopped in Twin Falls for a visit with a sister, Mt and Mrs. Hugh Pierce and family. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rookstool, Mr. and Mrs. George Shoe maker of Nainpa picnicked Sun day at Owyhee reservoir. Shirley Seward returned home August 10 from Red Fish lake lodge near Stanley, Ida., where she had summer employ ment. On Friday she left with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Seward and Gary for Myrtle Creek, Ore., to spend four days with her brother-in- law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jackson. Mrs. Rex Nichols and sons attended the Saturday evening wedding of Judy Paul and Art Solis of Parma. The rites were in St. Mary's Catholic church at Caldwell. APPLE VALLEY — Mrs. Earl Boston, Mrs. John Bos ton and family, Mrs. Bob Sh p- pv and children of Weiser spent the past 10 days camping at Ponderosa state park near Mc Call. Their husbands went for the weekend and all returned home Sunday. A number of friends of Mr. Ind Mrs. B. F. Gibson of Nainpa attended the Saturday evening wedding of their daugh ter. Sharon to Brian DeIbridge of M.chigan. Mrs. Hanna Robinson visited Suiday with Mr. and Mrs. Al bert Hellyer and Mrs. Floyd Frisbee at Emm tt. Mrs. Kenneth Robinson and children of Tempe. Aril., visit ed several days last week with Mrs. Hanna Robinson, Mi. and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson. Mr. a.id Mrs. Cleo Whittom of Boise and Lisa Carter of Port Orchard, Wash., were all day guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Correll. The Whit toms took Lisa Carter to Wash ington Mo.iday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Simmo.is and baby st Twin Falls were Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Nichols. Mark and Jeffery Smalley of Payette recently spent four days with Mike and Jay Nichols. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gushwa of Caldwell were Friday visi tors in the Ed Sells home. Joe Gushwa. who visited with John Sells last week, returned home with his parents. President Eris Bertram was in charge of the session and plans were made for the coming bowling season. Mem bers voted to sponsor a “bowl down” and Mabie Fangen was named chairman for the event. Mrs. Bertram explained some of the new WIBC rules and those not fully understood were discussed. It was noted that many of the local bowlers are not aware that WIBC dues must be paid the first night of bowling in a new session and league officers were urged to stress this point. Mrs. Bertram was named delegate and Mrs. Fritts was selected as alternate to repre sent local women bowlers at the state meeting to be held next spring at Klamath Falls. Other business included the appointing of several commit tees by the new president.
