JULY ti. 1967 THE NYSSA GATE CITY JOURNAL, NYSSA, OREGON PAGE TEN Pendleton Edges Out Vandal All-Stars 3-2 The Ontario Vandal All-Star squad met their second defeat last Wednesday night in the final contest of the District 3 Babe Ruth Tournament held in Baker. Ontario ended up playing a double-header Wednesday night as the Vandals, the Pendleton Americans, and the Pendleton Nationals were tied for first with each having one loss. the The Vandals shut-out Pendleton American team 4to0 as Dick Galloway went all the way for the win. The win over the Americans put Ontario in the final game with the Pendleton Nationals.
