THURSDAY, JULY 13. 1W7 THE NYSSA GATE CITY JOURNAL, NYSSA, OREGON PAGE TEN Big Bend Residents Report Fourth Of July Aetivities By Mrs. Dyre Roberts morning, where they were met by Mrs. Jim Carroll and Susan. Later they visited the dentist then went to Julia Davis Park. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Reed and family of Boise recently visited Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Van de Water. Laure stayed for a longer visit. Linda Bishop and a friend from Boise visited last Thurs day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. Shorty Hall and sons of Payette and Greg Beck ley of Linn, Wash., were 4th of July guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Higgins. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Foglemar and Ilene of Nampa were July 4 dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs Boyce Van de Water. Leonard Howes of Roy Utah spent several days last weel visiting friends and looking after his business. BIG BEND — Greg Beckley of Linn, Wash., spent several days last week with his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Higgins. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bauman and sons of Nyssa were recent Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Van de Water. Mrs. Dyre Roberts attended funeral services Wednesday for Harry A. Weaver at Cloverdale Memorial Cemetery. Later she had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Verde Lundstrum at Boise. She also visited her aunt, Mrs. Gerda Henderlider in Boise. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hobbs and baby of Longview, Wash., recently visited his grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cart wright.
