INJURES HAND Nyssa Police Sargeant Dar- reil Zinn plans to return to work Friday after being off duty since April 14 when he ran his right fund through a jointer while doing some work at his home. The students are Janet Dail; Janine, Pamela and Jan Salto. They will be judged on40points including techn Ique, rhythm, accuracy, phrasing, repertoire, interpretation, tone quality, dy namics, scales and chords. Mrs. Donald Mittelstaedt, a noted musician from Washing ton, will serve as judge. She is being sent by the National Piano Audition center in Austin, Texas. ZINKS VISIT SON IN CALIFORNIA HOSPITAL Mrs. William T. Ashcraft and son recently went to California with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dee Zink and family to visit the Zink’s son, William. Army Sp. Zink was critically injured April 1 in Vietnam when his base was attacked by the Viet Cong. He sustained gun shot wounds over various parts of his body and was on the cri tical list for sometime. The Journal carried a story and picture in a previous issue. He is now at the Letterman General hospital at the Presidio of San Francisco. His con dition was better than his rela tives had expected. The Nyssa families visited with William several days early last week. While in California they also visited with Mrs. Zink’s sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Stout and family at San Pablo, and Zink’s brother, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Zink in Tracy. NHS CALENDAR . .
