Mrs. Ballantyne reports that all funds have been received and that for Nyssa and Malheur county, it was the largest col lections on record. Of a $3,765.14 total, $455 was given as memorials, with other collections as follows: Adrian, $243; Brogan, $33; Harper, $43; Ironside, $8.43; Juntura, $39.70; Jordan Valley, $219.24; Nyssa, $1,006.25; Ontario, $1,465.81; Vale, $105; Willow Creek and Jamieson, $146.71. The county chairman has asked the Journal to express her appreciation to all area chairmen, other volunteers, as well as to those who donated. Granqe Reporter Lists Activities Mrs. John Zittercob drove to Emmett last week to get her aunt, Mrs. Emma Thomp son, who is visiting in this areu. The women visited Sun day with Mr. and Mrs. Theo Matherly. Mrs. Thompson spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Al Thompson near Adrian and visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bullard. RELEASED EROM HOSPITAL Cecil Houston was admitted to Malheur Memorial hospital March 13 when a pin was re moved from his hip. He was injured last June when a tractor rolled over on him. He re turned home last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stephen son were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ctndell. The occasion was to celebrate the birthday anni versaries of Clndell and Mrs. Stephenson. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Houston visited Sunday afternoon in the Herman Houston home on On tario heights.
