OREGON PAGE SIX Josephine Mendazona Becomes Bride Of Ontario Dentist Albert Barinaga March Workshop Set Parents of Nyssa For Area Gardeners Tell Future Plans ANK Garden club members met Jan. 10 in the home of Mrs. Maude Poulton at Parma, with Mrs. Vir ginia Timmerman as co-hostess. Program for the afternoon was a book review, “Herbs for Every Garden” by Mrs. Gene McCor mick. Plans were made for the ANK group to sponsor a “Horticulture Workshop" on March 17 for mem bers of all garden clubs within the district. Mrs. C. W. Mills, rep resenting the State Nurserymen’s association, will be working on this program. There will be several speakers from Oregon State university in Corvallis, and they will talk on various aspects of gardening. Lo cation of the meeting will be an nounced later. This will be an all-day session with a luncheon at noon. Mrs. Percy Jenkins and Miss Jeanne Poulton were guests at the recent Tuesday session. Next meeting will be Feb. 14 at the home of Mrs. L.
