Nyssan Walter Allen Nye of Pay

ciating was LDS Bishop R. T.
Soelberg of Payette.
Mr. Nye succumbed Sunday at
Grangeville, Idaho, following an
extended illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1885, in
Kansas and on March 25, 1912,
was married to Phoebe Winn at
Pioche, Nev.
The family moved to Nyssa in
1932. The deceased was a ditch
rider for the reclamation bureau
and also worked as a carpenter
for the Heldt brothers while re
siding here. The Nyes left Nyssa
17 years ago, moving to Payette.
Mr. Nye was a member of the
LDS church.
