In that story, the women urged cookie donations to be taken to the home of Mrs. H. O. Hopkins or to the community hall at Sec ond street and Ehrgood avenue on Monday, Dec. 5, after 2 p.m„ the date and time for packing the cookies. Now, comes a message from one who knows — Mrs. John Reffett, who was at the Boise Veterans’ CLASSIFIEDS F03 hospital when the Nyssa cookies arrived last year. Mrs. Reffett, whose husband was a patient there at that time, told a Journal reporter that she has never seen a more appreciated gift, and urges the cooperation of area housewives. and She stated that like others, she had never before realized the significance of the cookie-gift, but this year will certainly furnish her share.
