Doreen Fillmore and BUI Von- Bergen tallied the high score. Second place winners were Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. K. A. Danford. Placing third were Ann Halberg and Myrtle Rasmussen. This is the building which was destroyed by fire early last Thursday and when this photo was taken housed (from left) the Malheur County Bank. Thompson Trading company, a barber shop, the telephone office and Foster's Drug store. All of the people in this photo cannot be identified: however, according to Thomp son. it is believed that in front of the bank is John Wulf or John Ennis, with Charlie Davidson in front of his barber shop. Note the oldtime pump and horse trough, as well as the back end of an early-day cart, used by Boydell Mercantile store for delivery of merchan dise.
