Dail, USN, is serving aboard the landing ship dock Colonial, which has returned to San Diego. Calif., from an eight-month de ployment in the western Pacific. Homeported at San Diego, the Colonial participated in maneu vers in Vietnamese waters as a unit of the Seventh Fleet Amphi bious Force. During the cruise, landing ex ercises were conducted at Chin Bay, Okinawa, with a Marine bat talion landing team embarked in the Colonial and two other ships. When not in Vietnamese coas tal waters, the Colonial visited such ports as Subic Bay, Philip pines; Apra Harbor, Guam; Hong Kong, British Crown Colony; Sasebo and Yokosuka, Japan. The young sailor is a son of Postmaster Lee Dail of Nyssa. EXPRESSION OF THANKS sion Sunday at the home of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Jackson.
