Jim Mummert of the Payette First Christian church. The bride was attired in a street-length dress of empire de sign, fashioned from white nylon lace, bonded to pink tricot. With it she wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. Miss Carol Clucas, wearing a linen suit of pink print and pink carnation corsage, attended as maid of honor. Dennis Johnson served as best man. A shower honoring the new bride was held Saturday after noon, Oct. 8, at Adrian Commu nity church. Games were played by the 40 ladies in attendance and a read ing, “My Poor Feet,” was given by Mrs. Wilson Witt. Florene Ky- gar, Marcia and Teresa Topliff assisted the honoree in opening her gifts. Hostesses were Mmes. Irvin Topliff, Gerrit Timmerman, Tina Schiemer, M. L. Kurtz and John Fahrenbruch. They were assisted by Mrs. Tony Miyasako. The new Mrs. Spence is a grad uate of Adrian high school and her husband was graduated from Emmett high.
