Friends of the family are invit ed to call between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m. to visit with the senior Nedry couple who recent ly celebrated their golden wed ding anniversary. Kathleen Frances Nelson and John Stevens Moawad were unit ed in marriage during an 8 o’ clock evening ceremony on Fri day, Aug. 12, 1966. in the First Presbyterian church at Spokane Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard W. Nelson of Spokane. The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. John Moawad. who with her mother, Mrs. Frances Feeney, returned for the wedding from Dharhan. Saudi Arabia. Before an altar graced with basket arrangements of char treuse chrysanthemums and white gladioli, the rites were performed by Dr. David E. Dilworth of Whitworth college. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of silk organza. A remov able panel train flowed from a bow at the shoulder line. Her veil of silk illusion was secured to a pearl-studded Dior bow and she carried a cascading bouquet of gardenias and stepha- notis. Attending the bride were Miss Marjorie M. Stolz of Seattle, as maid of honor; and Mrs. Thomas A. Farr of Spokane, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Roger Wilson and Miss Lisa Bru baker of Spokane. They were attired in floor length gowns of chartreuse linen, enhanced with daisy appliques of Venice lace; carried baskets fill ed with white daisies and wore chains of daisies in their hair.
