NYSSA SOLDIER TRAINS AT BASE IN CALIFORNIA Fidel Soliz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcelino Soliz of 717 North Third street, Nyssa, enlisted on June 24 in the United States Army. He immediately left Boise for eight weeks of basic military training at Ft. Ord, Calif., and upon completion will be given airborne training.
