OREGON PAGE SIX Friends Stage Surprise Lawn Party To Celebrate Nyssans' Anniversary DUPLICATE BRIDGE GROUP TO SKIP JULY 4 SESSION Master point winners for Nyssa duplicate bridge club were an nounced by Mrs. Houston Wilson, Local Women Attend Betrothed Couple Annual Star Session Announces Plans Members of Eastern Star Chap ter 131 returned home recently from Portland where they had been attending Grand chapter. Session was held June 20-23 in j the Rose city where it has been ' held during previous years. Local women attending the meeting were Mmes. Lois Cart wright. Kay Wheeler, Pat Mar- 1 cum and Betty House. Mrs. Mar cum served as grand page during I the session. Installation of new officers will be July 11 at 8 p.m. in the Masonic hall. HONORED ON ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Herman Towne, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Porter were MH. and MRS. WARD WIENEKE . A surprise lawn dinner was served on the evening of June 9. 1966, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Wieneke in honor of their silver wedding anniversary.
