Pitman's Grandson Graduates With Honors From Texas High School Motorcycle Riders Reminded of License Law Effective July 1 Less than a month remains for Oregon’s motorcycle riders to obtain a “motorcycle endorse ment” on their driver licenses or face the possibility of citation for operating illegally. A new law. passed by the 1965 legislature, is scheduled to take effect July 1. It requires operat ors of the two-wheeled vehicles to be fully licensed drivers, as well as demonstrate ability to ride a cycle for Department of Motor Vehicle examiners. At the same time, it will be come illegal to rent, lease or oth erwise furnish a motorcycle to anyone who has not first display ed a license with a motorcycle en dorsement.
