Larsson Adrian Residents on 25th Anniversary Grand Bethel Session Plan Temple Rites International Order of Job’s Daughters, Bethel 33, held a regu. lar meeting Thursday evening, Muy 19, in the Masonic hall with Honored Queen Trudy Olsen pre siding. Junior bethel officers filled the various appointive stations. During the business session, Sheila Huffman and Laura Mac key were elected as delegates for grand session. Jane Timmerman was chosen to take Karen Main’s place a* grand representative to the state of Missouri during the annual meetings. Miss Main will be unable to attend grand session due to conflicting activities. It was announced that instal- lation for new officers will be held Tuesday evening, June 14. in the Eagles hall with the recep tion to follow at the Masonic hall. Go - to . Church Sunday was changed from May 29 to June 12 when all members will attend St. Paul’s Episcopal church. Alicia Huffman was selected as Jobie of the meeting Dr. and Mrs. Harry J. Halde man of Santa Barbara, Calif., an nounce May 31, 1966. wedding plan* for their daughter, Linda Gayle, and Dale Edward Larsson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C Larsson of rural Nyssa. The couple will be married in the Los Angeles LDS temple. A reception will be held Friday evening, June 3, in the Hotel Mar Monte at Santa Barbara. On Saturday, June 11, between the hours of 7 and 10 p.m., an open house reception will be held at the home of the bridegroom's parents on Columbia avenue near Nyssa. J The bride-elect was graduated from Santa Barbara high school in 1963 and studied at Brigham Young university in Provo. The future bridegroom is a 1962 grad uate of Nyssa high school, served an LDS mission in Texas and also studied at BYU. Hosts and hostesses for the event will lie the honored couple's children, including Mr*. Carl (Judith) Lovitt of Adrian, Iuirry, Laura and Gene of the home. Another son, Sgt Joe Mackey, is serving with the Army in Vietnam and will be unable to attend. Gerald Mackey und Pauline Gowey were united in marriage on May 31, 1941 at Payette, Idaho. Mrs. Mackey has resided in Adnan since 1935 and was graduated from Adrian high school. Her husband has been a resident of the area since 1940. Tlie couple request* that no gifts be taken. Major changes, if any, and their effects on this budget are set forth in an accompanying statement. A copy of the budget document may be inspected by interested persons between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Malheur Memorial Hospital. The budget document, or any portion of it may be obtained free of charge at Malheur Me morial Hospital. JOHN STAM Chairman of Governing Body VISITORS FROM PAYETTE REGARDLESS OF COST! * On Saturday evening in the Clifford Harris home, the family viewed movies of a trip to South America by Wade Harris and his wife. Dorothy. Mrs. Annie Harri*, mother of the family who celebrated her 85th birthday anniversary during March, was honored at a dinner on Sunday in the Ray Whitsell residence. In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Wade Harri* of Canaveral, Fla.; the Clifford Harris family of Ontario; Milo Harris of Oak land, Calif.; Mrs. Minnie Costa of Tracy, Calif.; Verdo Harris of Port Orford, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. C. N. (Alyce) Mell of The Dalles; ■ Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Lena) Whitsell of Ontario. One son, Wayne Harris, was un able to attend the Sunday dinner; however, he arrived Monday from Phoenix, Ariz. Others attending the Mothers’ Day dinner were Mrs. Judd Van- Garder and family, Mrs. Jerry , Gardner and son, all of Unity, Ore. Mrs Giles was also a guest. On Tuesday, Wayne Harris and Mrs. 'Whitsell took their mother to Fossil for a visit with her daughter, Florence Zachery and her husband, Harn1.
